Teach Me Quickbooks is one of the more extensive projects I have worked on recently. Many people believe that if they already have a complete website, hiring for a redesign will be simple and inexpensive. This can often times be a valid assumption, but more often than not, a redesign can be more troublesome than starting a website from scratch. In this case, the transition was very difficult and time consuming for a number of reasons. First of all, they had an established client base and somewhat commendable monthly website traffic. This meant that the transition from the old website to the new website must be instant and without any downtime. Secondly, the current website was built on a platform that in my experience was unnecessary and too complex for their needs. This meant that I needed to create a new website from scratch and either export/import the database from the old site, or recreate all site content manually. This is often time consuming and very difficult, but because they wanted SEO services along with their new website, I decided it was best to start from scratch. I built the new website on a testing server, and optimized it for keywords that I had researched for them. Upon making the new website live, there was only 5 minutes of downtime and everything transitioned perfectly. The client has been extremely pleased with this website, as well as their sister sites teachmefishbowl.com and teachmecloudsway.com

Fishbowl fully integrates with QuickBooks to allow a quick and relatively painless transition to the new inventory management software without having to get rid of all of the benefits of QuickBooks. This website was designed as a sister site for the clients primary website, Teachmequickbooks.com, also designed and powered by Market Fire Media. Some key featured of Teach Me Fishbowl include the featured slider on the homepage, an event calendar with event registration capabilities, and a number of color schemes for the client to choose from at any given time.
